Description

This patient desired treatment of the excess skin of her arms, breasts, and axilla (armpit area). To address all areas, we performed a combination operation of bilateral arm lift and bilateral breast lift with extension of the breast lift skin excisions towards the back. This extension was similar to a bra-line back lift, but without extending all the way around the back. This allowed the removal of a significant amount of excess skin, particularly in the axillary area. Additionally, the breast lift was performed using an auto-augmentation technique where sagging breast tissue was rotated up and used as additional volume, much like an implant, giving the breasts a more projected and aesthetic shape. The result is a significant improvement in the contour of her arms and breasts, with a seamless transition between the two areas. The patient is 2 months post-op, and results will continue to soften and improve in the coming months.
