Dr. Larson is an exceptionally talented specialist in lipedema surgery. I personally had stage 3, nearly stage 4 lipedema affecting my lower and upper extremities. The pain was unbearable, and I truly needed surgical help. Dr. Larson and his team were incredible from start to finish. One of the many positive differences is that Dr. Larson takes the time to do your surgery right, to remove the lipedema tissue in a careful way, and as a result – right after surgery even under the bandages, I could see knee bones! I haven’t seen those knees for decades, and I’m only one week post-op at this point but I can’t wait to see how well and how far I can walk now! Also, my recovery so far has been sooooooo much better with Dr. Larson than my first surgery, with no complications, much more post-op care from Dr. Larson and his great team including Bianca and Laura, and less post-op pain. I’ve had two of the three surgeries needed to treat my Lipedema with Dr. Larson. He and his practice manager, Bianca, are the most compassionate people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. After traveling from my home state and discovering that I had an asymptomatic infection, Bianca made sure my husband and I had plenty of options for things to do and places to see while we waited for the antibiotics to do their thing so that we could proceed with surgery. She was so thoughtful!
Dr Larson has the best bedside manner, hands down.
