Description

Lipedema Treatment: 40-Year-Old Female – Multi-Stage Transformation (Current Status)

Before Treatment

  • Age: 40
  • Severe lipedema affecting legs, arms, abdomen, and buttocks
  • Symptoms: chronic pain, heaviness, easy bruising, restricted mobility

Surgical Progress (Completed Stages)

  • Stage 1: High-volume lymphatic-sparing liposuction of bilateral legs – 14.9 liters removed + simultaneous medial thigh lift and vertical calf lift
  • Stage 2: Arm liposuction + brachioplasty
  • Stage 3 (recently completed): Extended abdominoplasty with abdominal muscle tightening, excess skin removal, and bilateral hip skin resection to lift the lateral thighs

Current Results (1 Month Post-Stage 3)

  • Resolution of leg and arm pain and tenderness
  • Improved proportions in legs, arms, abdomen, and lateral thighs
  • Significant early contour improvement in the abdomen and lateral thigh region despite expected post-operative swelling at the 1-month mark
  • Excellent healing progress with incisions softening and fading
  • Marked increase in daily comfort and mobility; patient is active, exercising without limitations, and reports feeling lighter and more confident

Upcoming Stage

  • Stage 4 (planned): Buttock lift for final lower-body contouring and harmony

This ongoing multi-stage approach continues to deliver profound pain relief, restored mobility, and a more proportionate, feminine silhouette—with life-changing functional and aesthetic improvements at every phase.
