Description

This lovely patient was diagnosed with lipedema and presented seeking surgical treatment. She underwent her first stage lipedema operation, which included power-assisted liposuction of the lower extremities. 10 Liters of lipoaspirate were removed during the case. This can be difficult to visualize, but if you imagine 5 large two-liter Coke bottles, it becomes easier. She spent the night in the hospital for observation as planned, given the high volume of liposuction performed. Her recovery went smoothly, and she recently underwent her second stage, which included liposuction of the arms as well as arm lift, as well as liposuction of the abdomen.
